About the Position

We are excited to invite you to join our team as a French-speaking Customer Advisor, supporting a major cruise line project. This fully remote position is available exclusively for candidates based in Portugal and offers a great opportunity to grow within the travel industry, whether you're starting your customer service career or are an experienced professional.
In this role, you will be the main contact for customers and travel agents, assisting with inquiries related to bookings, post-booking management, and other travel needs. While there are some sales aspects involved, such as suggesting additional services and packages, your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent customer support.

Work Schedule
- Shifts: Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00; weekends, 08:00-17:00 (occasional availability until 19:00).
- Rotating two days off per week.
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Support (Inbound):
- Answer calls from customers and travel agents, providing information on cruise bookings, destinations, pricing, etc.
- Offer accurate details about cruises, itineraries, and ships.
- Handle pre-booking, booking, and post-booking inquiries with care.
- Booking Management:
- Support customers with booking modifications, cancellations, and upgrades.
- Assist travel agents with managing bookings and cruise package updates.
- Cross-Selling and Upselling:
- Recommend additional services like onboard activities, excursions, or insurance where appropriate.
- Offer tailored cruise packages to meet customer needs without pressure.
- Post-Booking Support:
- Assist customers with questions after booking, including payments, documents, and special requests.
- Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve complaints empathetically and professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams for complex issues.
Qualifications
- French proficiency: C1 level or above, both written and spoken.
- English skills: Good level for internal communication.
- Experience in sales is mandatory.
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or related fields is advantageous but not required; full training provided.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is helpful.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
