Job summary

Cross Border Talents in Porto, Portugal, welcomes an experienced finance professional to oversee Order-to-Cash operations in a hybrid role. You will resolve complex payment queries and help improve financial processes while mentoring colleagues across international teams.

Fluency in French and strong English (C1) are required, with 5–7 years in Order-to-Cash or Finance Operations and at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Workday.
• Advanced Excel skills and a good understanding of financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing, collections, cash application, order management and dispute resolution.
• Monitor outstanding payments, review accounts receivable reports and improve collection performance.
• Resolve escalated customer queries and negotiate payment terms.
• Support financial closing, reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting and audit requirements.
• Improve processes and collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Treasury and Tax teams.
• Train and support junior team members.
