Job summary

EverDawn in Lisbon is seeking a freelance technical apparel designer to turn design concepts into production-ready tech packs and later 3D renders. You will collaborate directly with the founders and with factories through sampling.

You will produce flats, build tech packs, translate rough sketches, and support sampling rounds. Create CLO 3D/Browzwear renders for development and e-commerce across knits, wovens, socks and headwear. Remote with occasional Portugal visits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating tech packs for performance, sportswear or outdoor apparel.
• Strong knowledge of technical fabrics, stretch knits, bonded and seamless construction.
• Fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Experience working directly with factories through sampling and production.
• A personal connection to endurance sport is welcome, not required.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical flats (front, back and detail views) with construction callouts: seams, stitch types, trims and finishes.
• Build complete tech packs: measurement and spec sheets, grading, bill of materials, colourways, labels and packaging.
• Translate rough sketches and reference products into clear, factory-ready specifications.
• Support sampling rounds, updating tech packs from fit comments and factory feedback.
• Create 3D garment renders (CLO 3D, Browzwear or similar) for development, fit review and e-commerce.
• Work across technical knits, seamless, wovens, socks and headwear.

EverDawn makes equipment for ultra-endurance athletes: the people preparing for, attempting and recovering from 200-mile runs, 50 km swims and continental rides. Our range is organised by moment: 5am (Train), 8am (Compete) and 02:00 (Recover). We are an early-stage brand based in Lisbon, developing our first collection with Portuguese manufacturers.

The role

We're looking for a freelance technical apparel designer to turn our design concepts and sketches into production-ready tech packs for our first collection, and later into 3D renders of the pieces. You'll work directly with the founders and with our factories through sampling.
