Hiscox is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst for Europe, based in Lisbon. You will support Luxembourg and European regulatory and statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information.

Qualificações

• 2–4 years of experience in finance/accounting.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar.
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI is a plus.
• Fluent English (C1+).

Financial Reporting Analyst – Europe

About The Role

Join our Europe Finance team and play a key part in the regulatory and statutory reporting of Hiscox S.A. (HSA). You\'ll support Luxembourg and wider European reporting, helping ensure financial information is accurate, timely and compliant.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to consolidate their finance career and grow into regulatory reporting within a multinational insurance environment — full training and support provided. We\'re looking for someone eager to learn, not the finished article.

What You\'ll Do

• Support Luxembourg and European regulatory & statutory reporting, filings and submissions.
• Help prepare and analyse financial information, reconciliations and reporting templates.
• Contribute to strong financial controls, governance and process improvements.
• Work closely with Finance teams (Reporting, Controlling, Accounting, FP&A), auditors and regulators.
• Support month-end activities, audit requests and ad-hoc projects.

Who You Are

A motivated finance professional (c. 2–4 years\' experience) with strong analytical skills, great attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn. You work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced, international environment.

You\'ll Ideally Have

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar.
• Solid grasp of accounting principles (balance sheet & P&L, IFRS basis).
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI an advantage.
• Fluent English (C1+).

Nice To Have (but Not Essential — We\'ll Train You)

• Exposure to insurance accounting, Lux GAAP and/or Solvency II.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and multinational environments.
