The Regulatory & Reporting Business Analyst – Europe will join the Europe Finance team and play a key role in supporting the regulatory and statutory reporting requirements of Hiscox S.A. (HSA). The role is focused on Luxembourg regulatory reporting and wider European reporting requirements, ensuring the accurate preparation, analysis and delivery of financial, regulatory and statutory information to internal and external stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in regulatory reporting within a multinational insurance environment while working closely with finance, capital, risk and operational teams across Europe.
You are a highly motivated finance professional with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in regulatory and statutory reporting. You thrive in fast-paced environments, work effectively under pressure and consistently deliver high-quality results while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline. Business Management qualifications would be an advantage.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly balance sheet and profit & loss reporting on an IFRS basis. Ability to work effectively across geographical boundaries and international teams. Experience producing reports for external stakeholders. Exposure to insurance accounting and Luxembourg GAAP would be advantageous. Previous experience in a multinational environment would be beneficial.
Fluent English, minimum C1 level. Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets. Knowledge of Power BI would be advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and SharePoint. Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle or similar platforms.
