We are looking for a Financial Controller for Highgate Hotels in Portugal. The position is located in Albufeira, Algarve.

Challenges you’ll love:

  • Manage monthly forecasts and P&L consolidations, review comments;
  • Prepare cash flow projections;
  • Prepare monthly maps from SAP to Oracle;
  • Process accounts payable invoices;
  • Prepare financial reports and statistical data;
  • Establish and continually audit all internal financial controls;
  • Implement financial SOP’s.

What you need to shine in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Financial or Economic area;
  • At least 2 years of experience as Financial Controller;
  • Experience in international hospitality companies with USALI reporting;
  • Proficiency in Sap S/4HANA, Opera, Micros Simphony, preferred;
  • Familiarity with Portuguese tax rules;
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English is mandatory;
  • Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills;
  • Analytical mindset and ability to work independently;
