Job summary

Air Apps in Lisbon is seeking a junior finance professional to support month-end close, financial reporting, and data-driven decision making. You will handle accounting records, bank transactions, and assist with tax compliance while collaborating with Product, Marketing and Operations to align numbers with business goals.

This role offers exposure to ERP and expense management automation, training on Netsuite and other systems, and a path to grow in a fast-moving, globally minded company.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1 year of experience in finance, financial analysis, accounting, or a related area.
• Degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Comfort working with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end closing activities and related reporting.
• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial reports to support decision-making.
• Perform accounting records, bank transactions and support tax compliance activities.
• Collaborate with teams such as Product, Marketing and Operations to gather data and align financial insights with business goals.
• Support the review and reconciliation of expense reports, bank statements, AR balances and AP balances.
• Support cash flow monitoring and cost analysis efforts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of financial processes and tools, including ERP and expense management systems.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data through careful review and reconciliation activities.
