Invest Corporate Finance is the Portuguese partner of IMAP, the world's largest independent corporate finance network, and a collaboration with Banco Invest. We are one of Portugal's leading independent advisors on M&A, capital raising, restructuring, debt advisory, and fairness opinions.

You'll join our deal team and contribute across the full transaction lifecycle, with direct exposure to clients, investors, and senior decision-makers from day one.

Qualificações

• MSc in Finance, Management, Economics, or related field.
• Fluent Portuguese and English are working languages.
• Strong analytical rigor and comfort with Excel, financial modeling, and PowerPoint.
• Self-driven and able to take ownership in a small team.

Responsabilidades

• Execution support on live sell-side, buy-side, capital raising, restructuring, and advisory mandates.
• Financial modeling and valuation (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, LBO where relevant).
• Preparation of pitch materials, teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations.
• Sector and market research, including target identification and investor mapping.
• Direct interaction with clients, bidders, banks, lawyers, and other counterparties.
• Hands-on role with meaningful ownership during execution phases.

Financial Analyst — Corporate Finance & M&A Invest Corporate Finance (ICF) | Lisbon

Invest Corporate Finance is the Portuguese partner of IMAP, the world's largest independent corporate finance network — 350+ professionals across 40+ countries and 5 continents. We are a partnership between our Management and Banco Invest, and one of Portugal's leading independent advisors on M&A, capital raising (ECM and DCM), restructuring, debt advisory, and fairness opinions.

What this means in practice: our analysts work on a mix of Portuguese mid-market deals and cross-border transactions sourced through the IMAP network, with direct exposure to clients, investors, and senior decision-makers from day one — not three years in.

The role:

You'll join our deal team and contribute across the full transaction lifecycle:

• Execution support on live sell-side, buy-side, capital raising, restructuring, and advisory mandates
• Financial modeling and valuation (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, LBO where relevant)
• Preparation of pitch materials, teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations
• Sector and market research, including target identification and investor mapping
• Direct interaction with clients, bidders, banks, lawyers, and other counterparties
• This is a hands‑on role in a lean team. The work is intense, particularly during execution phases, and you will own meaningful parts of the process early. In return, the learning curve is steep and visible.

Who we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• MSc in Finance, Management, Economics, or related field
• Up to 3 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, transaction services, private equity, or corporate finance advisory (recent graduates with strong internships also welcome)
• Fluent Portuguese and English — both are working languages
• Strong analytical rigor and comfort with Excel, financial modeling, and PowerPoint
• Self-driven, comfortable taking ownership and asking questions in a small team

Nice to have:

• CFA candidate (any level)
• Working knowledge of Capital IQ, Mergermarket, or similar databases
• Prior sector exposure relevant to corporate finance work
