Job summary

Riskified is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist in Lisbon to ensure accurate billing data within the Order to Cash process. You will collaborate with Deal Desk, Sales, Product, Development, and Legal to maintain data integrity across Salesforce, Billing Platform, and NetSuite.

You will manage monthly billing cycles, perform manual calculations for non-standard terms, and drive process improvements and automation. A strong data-driven mindset and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Admin, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics or related field.
• At least two years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience collaborating with Development, Product, Analytics and other technical teams.
• Experience in high-tech or start-up industry is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Track and support end-to-end deal flow, ensuring billing data integrity across Salesforce, Billing Platform and NetSuite.
• Support and manage the monthly billing cycle, including recurring billing inquiries.
• Perform manual billing calculations for contract terms using BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate billing data in financial statements.
• Partner with Development teams to identify and resolve billing/operational issues.
• Coordinate with Account Managers to align workflows and track resolutions.
• Build weekly and monthly KPI reports.
• Help ensure SOX compliance and related controls.
• Drive automation and FinOps workflow optimization.
• Train Sales teams on data entry and system usage.
• Work with Deal Desk, Sales, Development, Product, Business Applications, and Legal teams.

About the Role

As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for teams involved in the Order to Cash (O2C) process. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and billing data across multiple systems. In your day-to-day work, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Deal Desk, Sales, Product, Development, Business Applications, Legal, and others.

What You'll Be Doing

• Track and support the end-to-end deal flow, ensuring billing data integrity throughout the Order to Cash process across Salesforce, Billing Platform, and NetSuite.
• Support and manage the monthly billing cycle, including recurring billing inquiries.
• Perform manual billing calculations for unsupported contractual terms using dedicated BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless flow of billing information and its accurate representation in financial statements.
• Partner with Development teams to identify, investigate, and drive billing and operational issues through resolution.
• Work with Account Managers and Account Executives to align operational workflows, identify issues, and track them through resolution.
• Build weekly and monthly reports and monitor KPI’s.
• Support SOX compliance requirements and related controls.
• Drive operational improvement initiatives, including automation, AI tools, and FinOps workflow optimization.
• Guide and train Sales teams on accurate data entry and proper system usage.
• Work closely with Deal Desk, Sales, Development, Product, Business Applications, and Legal teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) - mandatory
• Tech-oriented, with strong attention to detail and experience collaborating with Development, Product, Analytics, and other technical teams.
• Experience in the high-tech or start-up industry (strong advantage).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
• Proactive, resourceful, and execution-focused, with the ability to think creatively and take initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Familiarity with legal and contractual terminology.
• Experience working with Salesforce and NetSuite is a strong advantage.

We include transparent salary ranges to support fairness, clarity, and informed decision-making early in the process. The base salary range for this position is €35.000 - €40.000 gross annually for candidates based in Lisbon. Your actual salary will be determined based on your unique skills, experience, and competencies. If your expectations differ, please let us know - we’re always open to a conversation.
