Qualificações

The role

This role sits within the Financial Control team, who are responsible for the month-end close, preparation of financial accounts (to GL level), and play a key role in the delivery of audits. You will be a qualified accountant with experience in leading a team and delivering month-end.

What excites you

  • Coaching and development of a team of 3 Management Accountants
  • Ownership of the revenue accounting for the group, collaborating with the Billing and Management reporting teams
  • Overseeing and improving key month-end activities such as accruals, prepayments and fixed assets.
  • Ownership of key balance sheet accounts, ensuring reconciliations are completed monthly and any variances are resolved on a timely basis
  • Assist in year-end audits
  • Supporting the Group Financial Controller / Finance Director as required
  • Assisting with finance projects (IT implementation, process & controls improvement, etc.) as required

What excites us

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with a minimum of 2 years PQE
  • The proven ability to lead and develop a team, including both qualified and part-qualified accountants as well as other specialists, all at varying stages of their professional development.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheet skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving solving and communication skills
  • Experience with multi-currency balance sheet reconciliations
  • Continuous improvement mindset and not afraid to ask the question “why”
  • Strong IFRS knowledge, particularly around IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
  • Knowledge of NetSuite or similar accounting packages
  • Initiative, a strong sense of ownership, and the drive required to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth business

Base salary range: € 43,200- € 64,800 (gross), (including 13th and 14th salary).

Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
