Job summary

Timestamp is seeking an experienced IFS Consultant specialising in Finance to lead and deliver full-cycle IFS Cloud implementations across financial domains. You will configure GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cash management and tax, while aligning process design with business needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field.
• Proven experience in IFS Cloud implementations with a focus on Finance and Accounting modules.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, statutory reporting, tax rules and period-end processes.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese legal, tax and statutory accounting requirements, including local financial reporting obligations and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience configuring IFS components for General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support IFS Cloud implementations in the Finance area, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Analyse financial and accounting processes and translate business requirements into IFS functional designs and configuration specifications.
• Configure and maintain IFS modules related to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and financial reporting.
• Design chart of accounts, financial dimensions, posting rules, costing and period close processes within IFS.
• Define and implement financial controls, approval workflows and segregation of duties in the system to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
