Job summary

Natixis in Portugal is seeking a Financial Permanent Controller to ensure the reliability of financial information and data quality control (BCBS 239) across the Group. The role involves quarterly closing monitoring, process improvements, and close coordination with teams in Paris and Lisbon.

The candidate will supervise junior members, travel to Paris for training, and frequently interact in French as part of a cross-location team in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or equivalent with bank accounting knowledge.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Financial Audit (1+ years) or similar functions.
• Acquired concepts in accounting reporting, in particular: IFRS9; Accounting production (manual entries, account justification, suspense items, accounting tool authorization, etc); General bank accounting.
• Soft Skills: Autonomy; Written Communication; Oral Communication; Persuasiveness; Alternating Reasoning Modes / Ability to Switch Reasoning Approaches; Tenacity; Analyze & Solve; Relationship Building / Maintaining Relationships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quarterly closing monitoring controls and ad hoc assignments covering finance, regulatory and prudential information.
• Perform controls on financial data produced by Finance Departments across Group BPCE.
• Collaborate with Lisbon-based extended team; interact with Paris colleagues.
• Contribute to improvement of the control framework, including automatizations of processes.
