Job summary

Schreiber Foods is seeking a Filler Operator to support plant production by operating and monitoring filler equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

You will perform start-up/shut-down, routine operation, and maintain documentation, while adhering to GMP, food safety, and quality requirements in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a focus on accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in machine operation within manufacturing or food production.
• Knowledge of filling operations, equipment, and production processes.
• Mechanical aptitude to perform basic adjustments and equipment support tasks.
• Ability to accurately complete production records and documentation.
• Understanding of food safety, quality, and GMP requirements.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

• Operate filler and fill-room equipment per standard procedures.
• Perform start-up, shut-down, and monitor alarms and error codes.
• Complete downtime, weight checks, and material usage records.
• Perform routine Total Productive Maintenance and basic troubleshooting to maintain equipment performance.
• Support equipment set-ups, tear-downs, and changeovers to meet production schedules.
• Perform required PCP, CCP, QP, and CQP checks and follow established reaction plans for food safety and quality events.
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of filler equipment and fill-room per GMP.
• Handle ingredients, packaging, and product safely, including lifting and staging.
• Support rework, repalletization, or other production areas as needed.
• Follow safety, food safety, quality, and PPE requirements.
