A Sungrow Europe procura um Engenheiro de Serviço de Campo para apoiar clientes de ESS e PV em Portugal. Em funções práticas, irá acompanhar com rigor a instalação, comissionamento, manutenção e suporte técnico on-site.

Deverá diagnosticar e resolver falhas elétricas, de comunicação, firmware e sistemas, colaborar com gestão de projetos e parceiros, e manter documentação técnica clara para melhoria contínua.

Qualificações

• Experiência prática em serviço de campo, comissionamento, manutenção ou apoio técnico.
• Capacidade de diagnosticar e resolver falhas elétricas, de comunicação e de firmware.
• Comunicação clara em Português e Inglês (nível C1) em contextos técnicos.

Responsabilidades

• Acompanhar casos de clientes e fornecer suporte técnico no local em Portugal.
• Diagnosticar e resolver problemas elétricos, de comunicação, firmware e sistemas em inversores PV e soluções de armazenamento.
• Realizar instalação, comissionamento, manutenção preventiva, reparos e atualizações no local do cliente.
• Colaborar com Gestão de Projetos, parceiros e clientes durante comissionamento, aceitação no local e passagem de turnos.

Your mission

Olá e bem-vindo à Sungrow! We are excited to welcome a Field Service Engineer to support our ESS and PV customers across Portugal. In this hands‑on role, you will help keep clean‑energy systems running reliably and deliver a great service experience from commissioning through long‑term operation.

• Take ownership of assigned customer cases and provide timely on-site technical support across Portugal.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, communication, firmware, and system issues affecting PV inverters and energy storage solutions.
• Carry out installation support, commissioning, preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, upgrades, and rework activities at customer sites.
• Work closely with Project Management, partners, and customers during commissioning, site acceptance, and handover activities.
• Follow all applicable health, safety, quality, and operational procedures while maintaining a strong safety-first mindset.
• Create clear service reports, technical documentation, work instructions, and feedback to support continuous product and service improvement.

Your profile

That sounded exciting, right? To feel confident and successful in this role, your background could look like this:

• You hold a technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable discipline.
• You bring experience in field service, commissioning, maintenance, or technical support, ideally within PV, ESS, BESS, or industrial electrical systems.
• You are confident troubleshooting electrical equipment and enjoy finding practical solutions in customer‑facing situations.
• You communicate clearly and professionally in Portuguese and English at C1 level; additional European languages or Chinese are a plus.
• You are comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and collaborating with international colleagues and external partners.
• You are willing to travel regularly within Portugal, participate in an on-call rota when needed, and hold a valid driving licence.
