About The Role

As a Facility Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, safety, and sustainability of the organization’s buildings, equipment, and infrastructure. This role ensures that the facilities are maintained to the highest standards, meet compliance requirements, and provide a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Operations & Maintenance
    • Manage day-to-day building operations, ensuring systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, etc.) function properly.
    • Oversee cleaning, waste management, landscaping, and overall facility upkeep.
    • Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, building codes, health and safety requirements.
    • Implement and monitor workplace safety programs, emergency procedures, and risk management protocols.
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management
    • Manage service providers, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
    • Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and oversee project completion.
  • Space & Asset Management
    • Plan and allocate office space, seating arrangements, and workspace optimization.
    • Maintain facility-related budgets, assets, and inventories.
  • Sustainability & Cost Control
    • Implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
    • Monitor utility usage, optimize costs, and track facility budgets.
  • Projects & Improvements
    • Lead or support facility-related renovation, relocation, or expansion projects.
    • Provide recommendations for improvements to infrastructure and work environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Facility Manager, Building Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, security, etc.).
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent vendor and contract management abilities.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
