Job summary

Match Profiler is seeking a Network & Security Engineer to join a Cybersecurity project in Lisbon. Responsibilities include administration and optimization of F5 BIG-IP solutions, ensuring security and performance of applications and networks.

The role requires hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP and ASM/WAF, strong networking knowledge, and proactivity in a client-facing environment. Hybrid work in Lisbon with ongoing collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Professional experience with F5 BIG-IP.
• Experience with F5 ASM / WAF.
• Strong knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, routing).
• Experience in Network Security environments.
• Experience with troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Knowledge of other security solutions, such as Check Point, FortiGate, or A10, will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administration, configuration, and maintenance of F5 BIG-IP solutions.
• Implementation and management of F5 ASM / WAF solutions.
• Configuration of Load Balancing and security policies.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of F5-related incidents.
• Participation in security solution implementation and migration projects.
• Support in the architecture and design of Network & Security solutions.
• Interaction with technical teams and clients.
