Bosch Aveiro is seeking a passionate engineer to advance sustainable heating technologies. You will develop, simulate, and optimize control architectures for hybrid and residential heating appliances using MATLAB/Simulink, contributing to decarbonization efforts.

The role involves MIL simulations, evaluating system behavior against functional requirements, and presenting findings to the engineering team. A degree in engineering and strong English are required.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical, Physics or Electrical Engineering (or similar).
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Good understanding of thermodynamics and control engineering; model-based design is a plus; at least one programming language.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, simulate, and optimize systems and model core appliance functions using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Execute MIL simulations and evaluate system behavior against requirements.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

• Shape the future: You contribute to advancing sustainable, energy-efficient heating technologies. You play an active role in shaping next-generation control architectures for hybrid and residential heating appliances to drive decarbonization.
• Create something new: You develop, simulate, and optimize systems and model core appliance functions using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Assume responsibility: You execute model-in-the-loop (MIL) simulations, evaluate system behavior against functional requirements, optimize control parameters, document simulation results thoroughly, and present your findings to the engineering team.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Degree in a relevant field like Mechanical, Physics, Electrical Engineering (or similar);
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink;
• Good understanding of thermodynamics, control engineering and model-based design is an asset. As well as at least one programming language;
• Given our international field of work, you have excellent oral and written expression skills in English.
