Robert Bosch Group in Aveiro invites you to an extracurricular internship in Model-Based System Simulation. You will work on developing, simulating and optimizing heating solutions, focusing on hybrid and residential appliances to drive decarbonization.

You’ll use MATLAB/Simulink to model core functions and run MIL simulations. Applicants should have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Physics, hands-on MATLAB/Simulink skills, and strong English communication.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical, Physics or Electrical Engineering (or similar).
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Good understanding of thermodynamics, control engineering and model-based design is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Advance sustainable, energy-efficient heating technologies and contribute to next-generation control architectures.
• Develop, simulate, and optimize systems and model core appliance functions using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Perform MIL simulations, evaluate behavior against requirements, document results, and present findings.

Your contribution to something big:

• Create something new: You develop, simulate, and optimize systems and model core appliance functions using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Assume responsibility: You execute model-in-the-loop (MIL) simulations, evaluate system behavior against functional requirements, optimize control parameters, document simulation results thoroughly, and present your findings to the engineering team.

What distinguishes you:

• Degree in a relevant field like Mechanical,Physics,Electrical Engineering (or similar);
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink;
• Good understanding of thermodynamics, control engineering and model-based design is an asset. As well as at least one programming language;
• Given our international field of work, you have excellent oral and written expression skills in English.

Duration: 12 months
