Bosch Home Comfort Portugal invites applications for an Extracurricular Internship in AI & Automation Development in Aveiro. The 12‑month, full‑time internship focuses on creating AI-powered digital solutions to streamline procurement and operations, working closely with global engineering teams in an on-site setting.

You will develop automation features, collaborate with stakeholders, and explore Generative AI and workflow innovations while translating business needs into practical software

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Academic or personal projects in software development, automation or AI are advantageous.
• Knowledge of Python and software development; familiarity with AI, automation tools or LLMs is valued.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Analytical, structured and able to work independently.
• Curious, proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented.

As an AI & Automation Development Intern, you will support the development of innovative digital solutions that improve procurement processes and operational efficiency. Working closely with purchasing engineering teams and business stakeholders, you will contribute to automation initiatives, AI‑powered applications and process improvement projects within an international environment.
