Airbus Portugal SA is seeking a Compliance professional to ensure export control compliance across licences, classifications, licensing, and reporting obligations. You will guide stakeholders and coordinate with regional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a master’s in law or international trade with 2+ years of export control experience, strong integrity, leadership, and the ability to work both independently and within teams.

Qualificações

  • Master's degree in law, international trade (or equivalent).
  • 2+ years of experience advising on export control and/or sanctions matters.
  • High degree of integrity, discretion and trust.
  • Leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good writing skills required to write and edit reports and memorandums.
  • Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of team in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Experience and willingness to work on digital tools.
  • Languages: English; knowledge of French, German, or Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Ensure compliance with licences and export requirements, laws and regulations, end-use and regulatory reporting obligations, as well as Airbus Export Controls Directives and Methods.
  • Provide know-how and guidance on export control compliance to stakeholders.
  • Liaise between business functions and the Airbus Commercial export control team or regional export control and compliance teams when necessary.
  • Monitor, assess, decide, control and document export control related processes, including classification, licensing, and use of licence exceptions.
  • Support the export control function and resources by reinforcing key messages related to the Export Control Compliance Programme.
  • Continuously improve internal processes and deploy automation tools in line with regulatory requirements.

Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus’ global success and play a vital role in Airbus’ transformation journey in standardisation, harmonisation, digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes (e.g.Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions. Our target is that siloed ways of working / processes will be a relic of the past within the AGBS. Responsibilities - your mission
  • You will ensure compliance with licences and other export requirements, laws and regulations, end-use and regulatory reporting obligations, as well as the Airbus Export Controls Directives and Methods
  • You will provide know-how and guidance on export control compliance to your stakeholders.
