Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in renewable energy projects across Portugal? Join our team as an EPC Contract Manager (all genders) in Porto, where you will play a critical role in managing and negotiating contracts for the construction of photovoltaic (PV) and wind power plants. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to shaping the renewable energy landscape.

  • Oversee the negotiation, administration, and compliance of SubEPC contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and collaboration across Procurement, Engineering, Project Management, and Legal teams.
  • Assist project teams in contract interpretation, compliance, and managing SubEPC deadlines to minimize risks and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contractual communications with subcontractors and clients, updating documentation through addenda as required.
  • Assess, negotiate, and resolve claims or variations, ensuring proper interpretation and implementation of contracts in cooperation with relevant departments.
  • Drive adherence to contractual obligations, maintaining alignment with main contracts and supporting internal teams in risk assessment and resolution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPC contract management, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EPC structures, including risk allocation, pricing models (e.g., lump-sum, cost-plus), and key terms. Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to safeguard organizational interests.
  • Skilled in mitigating project risks, managing contract variations, and resolving claims and disputes efficiently while maintaining project progress.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese, with strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders. Any additional languages are a plus.
