Overview

We are building a world class team and would love you to join us!

As an experienced FinOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in analyzing and optimizing our AWS cloud spend. You’ll monitor and audit cloud costs, with expertise in observability tools such as DataDog and Vantage, and a fine-grained approach to cost analysis, creating dashboards to provide cost visibility and transparency to cloud usage across multiple services in a multi-tenant ecosystem. You’ll use scripting languages like Python or Go to collect and fine-grained cloud cost information, allowing you to create an accurate representation of cloud costs based on tenant usage.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency—while continuing to learn, grow, and have fun building meaningful solutions.

National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

Expertise we are looking for:

• Proven experience in cloud cost monitoring, analysis, or FinOps roles.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud platform and their pricing models.
• Understanding of Cloud Services such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS.
• Proficiency in monitoring and reporting tools preferably using DataDog and/or Vantage, for tracking consumption and spending.
• Experience in automation and scripting using Python and/or Go.
• Solid experience with Cloud tools such as Kubernetes and terraform.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for continuous learning and sharing knowledge.

Nice to have:

• Experience with cost management tools like AWS Cost Explorer or third-party tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Apptio, CAST AI).
• FinOps certification or participation in the FinOps Foundation community.
• Good experience using ArgoCD, Flux is a huge plus.
