Overview

We are building a world class team and would love you to join us. As an experienced Cloud Engineer you’ll be part of an agile project team working with all the infrastructure pieces of a system. From writing code to provisioning infrastructures to driving root cause analysis, all while making sure you have fun learning and building things.

You will also be guiding the team on DevOps methodologies and best practices, and have very close contacts with CEO, COO (others) from client side, so English must feel as second nature to you.

National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

Responsibilities

• Work with all infrastructure components of a system within an agile project team
• Write code to provision infrastructures
• Drive root cause analysis
• Foster DevOps methodologies and best practices

You are good at

• Roaming around Linux/Unix systems and pinpointing problem root causes
• Understanding how the Internet and Web applications work under the hood
• Metrics, logs, distributed tracing and everything around observability
• Configuration management frameworks such as Ansible
• Maintaining applications in a production environment
• Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose
• Feeling humble and motivated by being able to learn/teach others
• Comfortable with DevOps methodologies and best practices

You rock at

• Good Experience managing AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
• Provisioning resources, configuring networks, ensuring security, optimizing costs, implementing disaster recovery, and automating infrastructure management.
• Experience setting up CI/CD and AWS networking and accounts using Github, Github actions, Gitlab and/or Jenkins.
• Experience with Containers and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes and Docker, preferably using Helm Charts.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and its tools, such as Terraform, Terragrunt
• Experienced with monitoring (Grafana, Kibana, DataDog, CloudWatch also an option).
• Experienced Creating and Developing CDN using CloudFront and or AKAMAI.
• Solid knowledge of Networking protocols.
• Experienced with language for automation task and scripting such as Bash, Python, Javascript and Typescript.
• Very comfortable with English.
