GulfDesign UAE is seeking an experienced carpenter to join the team in Almada, Portugal. The role involves reading blueprints, cutting, shaping, and installing wooden structures and fixtures, while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate has proven carpentry experience, strong tool skills, and the ability to work independently or with others. Biometric passport is preferred. This is a full-time on-site position with diverse project opportunities.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as carpenter or similar role.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Biometric passport preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and materials needed.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to the design plans.
• Cut, shape, and smooth materials using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels, planes, sanders, or routers.
• Join materials together using nails, screws, staples or adhesives.
• Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
• Inspect work pieces for defects and make necessary repairs or replacements.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
