Job summary

act digital is seeking a Senior ETL Developer with strong Informatica PowerCenter expertise to design, develop and optimize complex data integration solutions. You will lead the full ETL lifecycle, from technical design to production support, acting as a technical reference within the team.

You will design architectures for ETL processes, develop robust solutions, optimize SQL queries, and work with diverse data sources including APIs, XML/JSON and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience as an ETL Developer with strong hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Advanced knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter components: Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor and Repository Manager.
• Strong experience designing complex mappings and workflows, performance tuning and partition management.
• Advanced SQL skills with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata or PostgreSQL.
• Shell scripting skills in Bash, Unix or Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts including star/snowflake schemas and SCDs (Kimball/Inmon).
• Experience troubleshooting complex ETL and production issues and providing Level 3 support.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into scalable data integration solutions.
• Design the technical architecture of ETL processes, including complex mappings, mapplets and workflows.
• Develop, test and deploy robust ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Create detailed technical specifications and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures and Shell scripts on Linux/Unix environments.
• Integrate data from heterogeneous sources, including relational databases, flat files, APIs, XML/JSON and Cloud environments.
• Perform ETL performance tuning, including mapping optimization, database query tuning, cache management and partitioning.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide Level 3 production support.
• Ensure data integrity, quality and security throughout ETL processes.
• Implement and maintain workload scheduling and automation processes using tools such as Control-M, AutoSys or Dollar Universe.
• Act as a technical reference for the development team, supporting technical decisions and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to high development and quality standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience as an ETL Developer, with strong hands‑on experience in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Advanced knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, including Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor and Repository Manager.
• Strong experience designing complex mappings and workflows, performance tuning and partition management.
• Advanced SQL skills and solid experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata or PostgreSQL.
• Strong Shell scripting skills in Bash, Unix or Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including star and snowflake schemas, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) and Kimball/Inmon methodologies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex ETL and production issues.
• Ability to work as a technical reference and support other members of the development team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Knowledge of other Informatica solutions, such as Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or MDM.
• Experience with Cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of workload automation and CI/CD tools such as Control-M or Jenkins.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
