Job summary

Inetum is seeking an ETL Developer to join a transversal Data Factory squad in Lisbon. The role focuses on maintaining and supporting the Data Factory framework, with hands-on work in IBM Datastage PX and SQL, including development, testing, documentation, and user support.

Qualifications

Experience with IBM Datastage PX or similar ETL tools.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
Experience with Git/Jenkins and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
Ability to document bugs, tickets and code changes.
Advanced English; Portuguese language is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Participate in the full ETL development lifecycle (analysis, development, testing, deployment) using IBM Datastage PX and SQL.
Perform unit, integration, and automated tests with Octane or Quality Center.
Apply best practices and contribute to technical solutions.
Identify innovative solutions aligned with project needs.
Provide maintenance and level-3 support for the application portfolio.
Develop functional and technical expertise on key applications and technologies.
Challenge business/technical requirements when appropriate.
Contribute to the definition of technical solutions.
Develop and customize Datastage enabler components.
Monitor performance and resolve related issues.
Ensure high-quality delivery of all tasks.

Job Description

We are looking for ETL Developers to join a transversal squad dedicated to maintaining and supporting our Data Factory framework.

The Data Factory program provides a centralized data aggregation and curation platform built on a relational database with modern ETL components. It consolidates operational and reference data into a single repository, ensuring harmonization, quality control, and consistency.

In this role, you will work primarily with IBM Datastage PX and SQL, providing development, testing, documentation, and user support. You will also help prepare environments, conduct testing cycles, and deliver the required evidence for acceptance.

Main Tasks

Participate in the full ETL development lifecycle (analysis, development, testing, deployment), mainly using IBM Datastage PX and SQL
