Job Description

We are looking for an ETL Consultant to join our HCM team for one of our international clients.

Responsibilities:

Data Extraction & Transformation

• Design, develop, and manage ETL processes to extract data from multiple sources.
• Perform data transformation using SQL and other ETL tools to align with Workday and Workforce data models.
• Optimize complex SQL queries and ensure high performance during large data transfers.

Data Loading & Integration:

• Perform data loads into Workday and Workforce systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with system standards.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to coordinate data migration and ensure seamless integration.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Data Quality & Validation:

• Implement robust data validation checks and reconciliation processes post-load.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business needs.

Process Documentation & Support:

• Document ETL workflows, data mapping, and technical specifications.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ETL processes, including resolving data issues and system errors.
• Recommend and implement improvements for ETL efficiency and data quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in ETL development and data migration.
• Strong expertise in SQL (including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with Workday and/or Workforce data structures and integration processes.
• Experience with ETL tools such as SQL or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of HR data models and payroll systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
