Ferring+You

You will become a member of Ferring’s global ESG team, which is part of Group Finance. You will be responsible for leading ESG data collection, reporting, analysis, and insights generation for Ferring Pharmaceuticals globally, working with key partners in the team and in other business functions. In this role, you will have a broad exposure to ESG-related data, governance and disclosure topics as part of a multinational business environment.

You will lead the data collection and its availability for reporting purposes for all ESG information while ensuring the validity of all ongoing data reporting, including alignment to ESG standards, and will contribute to the execution of the global reporting effort. You will also define internal controls of ESG data and ensure that our reporting is ready for assurance.

You will have particular focus on Ferring’s greenhouse gas accounting and ensuring that our GHG emissions are calculated and reported correctly. You will also develop an ongoing approach to data and metrics that support Ferring’s material ESG topics and evolve the approach to align with business and stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the company’s overall approach to ESG data management, with a particular focus on GHG accounting and reporting by performing ESG data management and data collection programs
  • Continuously improve our standard reporting effort
  • Ensure the data aligns with appropriate ESG frameworks
  • Ownership of the company’s ESG data management software
  • Drive development and expansion of the tool where appropriate
  • Develop and lead approach to internal and external data auditing and assurance
  • Support ESG team and business contributors with data and insights to demonstrate progress and propose continuous improvements
  • Assist with various data-related projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Finance, Accounting, engineering, environmental science, or data management
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in financial or non-financial controlling, assurance/ financial auditing, data management, ESG reporting, or a related field
  • Experience with reporting software and databases
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and report complex data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Familiarity with pharmaceuticals or life sciences industries is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulations is a plus
