PPOAR in Almada is seeking an Entry-Level Mason to join our growing team. You will build and repair structures using brick, stone, concrete, and related materials, following blueprints and supervisor instructions.

No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided. This role demands physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort working at heights. Accommodation is provided and there are opportunities for career growth.

Responsabilités

• Lay out and plan construction projects according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors
• Cut or break bricks, stones, or blocks to the desired size using hand or power tools
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto the designated surfaces using trowels
• Set bricks or stones in place using mortar as a bonding agent and fill gaps between them with grout or caulking
• Smooth out excess mortar with trowels and other hand tools
• Install fireplaces, chimneys, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures according to specifications
• Repair existing masonry structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones and applying new mortar

Entry-Level Mason

We are hiring an Entry-Level Mason to join our growing team in Almada! As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures made of brick, stone, concrete, and other materials. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
