Job summary

BrightPath Engineering in Almada, Portugal is seeking an Experienced Mason to join our construction team. You will build and repair structures using bricks, stones, and concrete blocks, following blueprints and specifications to high standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of masonry experience, can work independently or with a crew, and stay organized, maintaining clean work areas and adhering to safety practices. This position is based in Almada with no accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of masonry work experience required.
• Able to read and follow blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of brick, stone and concrete block masonry techniques.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing manual tasks.
• Good communication and ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and construct walls, foundations, chimneys, and other structures per specs.
• Mix mortar and spread it evenly between bricks.
• Use hand or power tools to shape materials.
• Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using various materials such as bricks, stones, and concrete blocks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in masonry work and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and construct walls, foundations, chimneys, and other structures according to blueprints or specifications
• Mix mortar and spread it evenly over the base or between bricks
• Use hand tools or power tools to cut or shape materials to desired size
• Repair existing structures by replacing broken bricks or stones
• Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner and meets quality standards
• Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Mason
• Knowledge of different masonry techniques and materials
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
