Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Enterprise Risk Officer to join our growing team. In this pivotal role you will help shape the organisation’s risk management framework, ensuring alignment with both operational and strategic goals. You will play a key role in identifying, assessing and mitigating risks across various domains and work closely with senior leadership to proactively address potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Enterprise Risk Manager in maintaining and updating the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, including its policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments:
  • Identify and analyse entity‑wide and business risks.
  • Evaluate controls to ensure they mitigate identified risks.
  • Recommend risk mitigation strategies to internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor and update the organisation’s risk registers.
• Prepare risk reports for senior leadership and relevant stakeholders, delivering actionable insights in a clear and concise manner.
• Support the delivery of risk management training to the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure the Risk function complies with applicable regulations in which the business operates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Enterprise Risk Manager.

Qualifications

Essential skills

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience and knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
• Experience working in regulated industries.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to listen actively and work independently when required.
• Good command of English and Portuguese, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct in line with corporate values.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications in Risk Management (e.g., PMI‑RMP, CRISC, CRMA).
• Familiarity with GRC management software.
• Knowledge of the ISO 31000 standard.
• Work experience in the iGaming sector.
