Brisa Group is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Senior Specialist to shape the evolution of its application landscape, collaborating with Group businesses and corporate functions across Portugal and internationally. You will establish and lead enterprise architecture governance, drive portfolio rationalization, and develop roadmaps aligned with business priorities.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 4 years in Solution/Enterprise Architecture
• Experience implementing EA governance, principles, standards and processes
• Strong in Application Portfolio Management and portfolio rationalization
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks and modelling languages (TOGAF, ArchiMate, C4, UML)
• Experience with Cloud and Hybrid architectures (Azure and/or AWS) and integration patterns
• Experience with LeanIX or equivalent tools; knowledge of DDD, distributed architectures, generative AI a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; fluent English

Brisa Group is looking for a highly skilled Enterprise Architecture Senior Specialist to join our Technology & Systems team.

You will play a key role in shaping the evolution and rationalization of Brisa's application landscape, working transversally with the Group’s businesses and corporate functions, both nationally and internationally.

Main responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Enterprise Architecture governance, defining principles, standards, methodologies and review processes;
• Drive the rationalization and evolution of the application portfolio, including business capability mapping, application lifecycle and technical debt management;
• Implement and operationalize Application Portfolio Management practices and tools across the Group;
• Act as Solution Architect in complex and cross-functional initiatives, defining High Level Designs and ensuring architectural consistency;
• Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business priorities, investment plans and the evolution of the technology landscape;
• Support technology, platform and vendor decisions, providing structured analysis of options, risks and business impact;
• Promote the practical adoption of AI, automation and emerging technologies within Enterprise Architecture;
• Work closely with Technology & Systems teams, business stakeholders and external partners, influencing decisions through technical expertise and stakeholder management.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in IT, including at least 4 years in Solution Architecture and/or Enterprise Architecture roles;
• Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture governance, including the definition and implementation of principles, standards and processes;
• Strong experience in Application Portfolio Management and application rationalization, including business capability mapping and technical debt management;
• Solid knowledge of architecture frameworks and modelling languages such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, C4 and UML;
• Experience with Cloud and Hybrid architectures (Azure and/or AWS), integration patterns, application modernization and legacy migration;
• Experience with LeanIX or equivalent tools, Domain-Driven Design, distributed architectures, Generative AI or experience in regulated or asset-intensive industries will be valued;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technology topics into business decisions and influence without formal authority;
• Proactive, autonomous and pragmatic mindset, with the ability to build a new Enterprise Architecture practice from the ground up, combined with fluent English.
