Mindera is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager / Technical Lead to guide a talented engineering team in Porto. You will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor engineers, and work closely with product and design to deliver high-quality software for clients.

You will lead engineers, including test engineers, and apply modern practices to scale projects. A passion for growth, learning, and collaboration will be essential in a fast-moving, open, and politics-free environment.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager or similar leadership role within software development.
• Strong Java/Javascript knowledge
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems using technologies like GraphQL
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure)
• Experience with Agile development environments
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Passion for technology and continuous learning

As an Engineering Manager at Mindera, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions for our clients.

You will play a key role in driving the growth and development of our team members, providing mentorship and guidance to help them reach their full potential. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define project goals, requirements, and timelines.

As an Engineering Manager at Mindera, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and innovative projects, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and practices, driving excellence and efficiency across the team. The role will lead a team of engineers including test engineers. The role is expected to be technically competent in supporting the team.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager or similar leadership role within the software development industry.
• Strong technical background, with expertise in software engineering and development methodologies.
  Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong Java/Javascript knowledge
• Strong knowledge of working distributed systems using technology like graphQL
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (Ideally Azure)
• Working with Salesforce knowledge would be a bonus.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passionate about technology and continuous learning.
