Randstad in Portugal seeks a Cyber Defense Lead – EMEA to translate global security strategy into regional execution and coach a team of 7 engineers. You will act as Incident Commander during critical cyber events within a 24/7 operation.

You will drive operational excellence within the EMEA Cyber Defense Center, aligning with ISO 27001, CIS Controls and NIST CSF, and collaborating with global teams to maintain uninterrupted security across the region. Fluent in English required.

Qualificações

• Experience leading SOC/security engineering teams in enterprise environments.
• Strong incident commander background in threat detection and response.
• Hybrid SOC experience with internal teams and MSSP partners.
• Deep familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Senior security certifications (CISM, CISSP, GCIH) valued.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the EMEA Cyber Defense Center in line with global SOC strategies.
• Coach and balance workloads for a team of 7 Cyber Defense Engineers.
• Act as regional escalation point and Incident Commander for high-severity events.
• Coordinate follow-the-sun handovers with AMER and APAC for continuous coverage.
• Drive workflow enhancements, detection tuning, and automation across the security stack.
