Bosch Service Solutions S.A. in Ovar, Portugal, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to adapt existing software for a new generation of drive units.

You will focus on creating internal tools powering the entire development lifecycle from early R&D to final industrialization. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Engineering, strong C programming skills, Python, CMake, and Linux experience, plus CI/CD know-how and solid English communication.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Professional embedded software development experience in C.
• Experience with Python and build systems like CMake, ARM GNU tools.
• Solid understanding of Linux, hardware reading, debugging tools.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or Git-based pipelines.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain internal software tools for prototyping, R&D, embedded testing, and product certification.
• Optimize and evolve the embedded software toolchain (build systems, compilers) to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive GUI and CLI applications that support our embedded systems.
• Implement and improve toolchain and artifact management solutions aligned with modern industry standards.
• Ensure robust version control, documentation, and traceability using platforms like Git and GitHub.
• Continuously analyze and improve development workflows, automation pipelines (CI/CD), and internal software processes.
