An international engineering and technology consulting group is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer in Porto. You will design system architecture, configure equipment, and perform tests. The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering, with strong technical skills and a proactive attitude. Qualificações

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
Knowledge in Protection, Automation, and Control (PAC) equipment and solutions for power substations.
Knowledge in IEC 61850 and standard communication protocols.
Experience with IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus and related protocols.
Cybersecurity considerations for PAC products and systems.
LAN setup and testing experience; ability to document clearly.

Responsabilidades

Design system architecture and configure equipment as per contractual requirements.
Perform Test Protocol with the customer and external certifying entities.
Produce technical documentation including manuals and procedures.
Produce technical documentation (manuals, procedures, etc.).
Interact with customers and certifying entities to support homologation.

YOUR RESPONSABILITIES

We are looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer in Porto with the mission of designing the system architecture and configuring the individual equipment's and the global system according with the contractual requirements and performing the Test Protocol with the customer and external certifying entities, in order to obtain the required Homologation.

Detailed requirements analysis
Individual equipment configuration
Test Protocol and Report execution
Work closely with R&D team for detailed coordination on the above issues
Strong technical interaction with customer and external certifying entities
Production of technical documentation (manuals, procedures, …)

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent);
Knowledge in Protection, Automation and Control (PAC) equipment's and solutions for power substations;
Knowledge in electrical schematics and other technical documentation related to power substations
Knowledge in IEC 61850, international standard for communication networks and systems in substations, and associated tools
Knowledge in standard communication protocols (IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus, …
Knowledge in cybersecurity configuration applied to PAC products and systems
Knowledge in LAN configuration and test (router, switch, ETH, …)
Ability to write technical documentation
