AMGEN Capability Center Portugal seeks an ELMAC Business Analytics & Insights Manager in Lisbon. You will lead commercial insights and forecasting for AMGEN oncology brands across Europe, Canada, Middle East, Africa and LATAM, overseeing market research, analytics, forecasts, and brand performance tracking.

The role requires advanced degree and strong English communication, with ability to translate business questions into research plans and deliver actionable recommendations to support launch

Come thrive with us at AMGEN, supporting our mission To Serve Patients.What we do at AMGEN matters in people’s lives.**ELMAC Business Analytics & Insights Manager****LIVE****WHAT Y****OU WILL DO**In this vital role, you will lead Commercial Insights and Forecasting activities for key AMGEN oncology brands across Europe, Canada, Middle East, Africa and Latin America to inform strategic decisions:* Oversee primary market research, secondary analytics, short and long-term product forecasts, and brand performance tracking* Provide an objective and meticulous point of view on sales forecasts and product performance while collaborating with Global & Affiliates Marketing, Value & Access, Medical and Forecasting teams* Address business issues and opportunities through relevant analytical approaches, support launch readiness and business growth* Develop/maintain an appropriate regional forecasting patient model and support the affiliates in further development/use of this model* Drive brand specific performance management in ELMAC; ensure that marketing assumptions are appropriately linked to sales performance metrics and targets* Implement primary market research projects, understanding the needs of the Global Brand team and affiliates and contributing to building the ELMAC insight generation plan required to meet those needs* Work to translate the primary market research findings into practical insights and be able to influence the team’s decision making accordingly* Improve team capabilities by researching and implementing new innovative tools including AI/ML**Be part of our team:*** You would be joining a strong and motivated team of experts in commercial insights and forecasting, well positioned in the organization as a valuable and reliable business partner* Being part of ELMAC BAI team means being exposed to a variety of exciting projects throughout the year and be able to see the value of your work and contributions* ELMAC BAI Team members are part of the Global Brand Team informing strategic decisions and assessments (e.g. brand planning, life cycle management, cases, long-range forecast reviews etc)* In this dynamic role you will build relationships with a wide range of internal customers and external partners across geographies, functions and levels, including Senior Management Team at Global, Regional and Country levels**WIN****WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU**We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. What we seek in you as an experienced professional, are these qualifications and skills:* Doctorate, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and demonstrated pharmaceutical market analysis and/or business planning.* Fluency in English with excellent oral and written presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences* The ability to translate business questions and needs into research plans and synthesize multiple data sources to answer business questions* Demonstrated ability to deliver results, champions new innovative methodologies and tools, and strengthen the ELMAC country community* Therapeutic area experience and prior technical experience creating or handling KPI and performance metrics* Expertise in market analysis and forecasting (forecasting models, knowledge frameworks for qualitative competitive analysis, forecasting and analytical tools)* Commercial Analysis, Business Planning experience and strong ecosystem knowledge in ideally at least one of the key ELMAC market (Germany, France, Canada, Italy, Spain or UK)* Deep understanding of the markets, brands and broader context (internal and external) of the business.
