A Preh Portugal, Lda. procura um(a) Engenheiro(a) de Teste e Programação de Electrónica para apoiar o desenvolvimento e a otimização de processos de teste e de programação in-sistema (ISP) em PCB.

Responsável por integrar, melhorar e manter operações de ISP em plataformas ICT, garantindo firmware confiável e de alta qualidade e colaborar com equipas de engenharia, produção e qualidade. Requisitos: Engenharia Elétrica, inglês B2, experiência com C# e SQL.

Qualificações

• Diploma em Engenharia Elétrica.
• Inglês nível B2.
• Conhecimento de C# e SQL para firmware/diagnóstico.
• Noções de microeletrónica e power electronics.

Responsabilidades

• Integrar capacidades de flash programming em sistemas ICT usando JTAG, SPI, UART e outros protocolos ISP.
• Otimizar tempos de programação e de teste para aumentar throughput.
• Colaborar no desenho/validação de fixtures para acesso a protótipos.
• Realizar análise de causas de falhas de programação (fixtures, software, componentes).
• Gerir carregamento de firmware, verificação e controlo de revisões para MCUs e flash.
• Monitorizar estabilidade de processo com ferramentas SPC e promover melhoria contínua.
• Fornecer apoio técnico e colaborar com engenharia, produção e qualidade.
• Contribuir para iniciativas de qualidade, meio ambiente, saúde e segurança.

About The Role

We are looking for an Electronics Test & Programming Engineer to join our team at Preh Portugal (Trofa) and support the development and optimization of advanced electronic testing and programming processes. In this position, you will play a crucial role in integrating, improving, and maintaining in‑system programming (ISP) operations within ICT platforms, ensuring efficient, reliable, and high‑quality firmware flashing directly on PCBs.

The Challenges In Front Of You

• Integrate flash programming capabilities into ICT systems using JTAG, SPI, UART, or other ISP protocols
• Optimize programming and test cycle times to improve throughput and yield
• Collaborate on fixture design and validation to ensure proper access for programming probes
• Perform root‑cause analysis of programming failures, identifying issues related to fixtures, software, or electronic components
• Manage firmware loading, verification, and revision control for microcontrollers and flash devices
• Monitor process stability using SPC tools and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical support and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams
• Contribute to quality, environmental, health, and safety initiatives

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• B2‑level English proficiency
• Experience working with C# and SQL
