Job Description:
We are seeking a talented German Team Manager to oversee an assigned team, ensuring they meet or exceed client and company goals. The role involves coaching and motivating advisors by providing necessary skills and knowledge.
Our client is a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, offering industry-specific solutions worldwide.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing absenteeism and attrition through continuous review and proactive measures, including return to work and exit interviews.
- Monitoring advisor performance against KPIs, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Conducting quarterly performance reviews and monthly 1:1 meetings with advisors, aligning objectives with business KPIs.
- Recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
- Providing clear guidance to achieve key performance metrics.
- Promoting open communication and sharing best practices.
- Fostering a team environment that values loyalty and pride in work.
- Coaching and developing advisors, supporting their career growth.
- Monitoring advisor interactions for compliance, ensuring performance standards.
- Addressing client/campaign issues promptly with the Operations Manager.
- Implementing actions to improve client satisfaction scores.
- Training team members and new hires on procedures and compliance.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in German (C2) and English (C1 or higher).
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good numeric and verbal reasoning abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- EU citizenship or valid work permit for Portugal.
- Willingness to relocate to Lisbon and work on-site at Sete Rios.
Knowledge/Abilities:
- People-oriented approach.
- Sales skills and experience with policy work.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
