Job Description:

Manage, maintain, and monitor Linux servers and applications, including system updates, patching, and configuration management;

Perform regular system and security audits, vulnerability assessments, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies;

Proactively identify and resolve system performance issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime;

Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues;

Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing;

Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Linux system administration (CentOS, RedHat) and/or UNIX (HP-UX, AIX, Solaris);
• Experience with automation and scripting tools like Python and Bash;
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Openstack) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift);
• Strong command-line skills;
• Experience with configuration management tools and version control systems (Bitbucket/Git);
• Hands-on experience with Ansible (preferred);
• Knowledge of Web Application Servers – Weblogic is a plus;
• Understanding of TCP/IP, LDAP, and IPV4/IPV6 (desirable);
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills;
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
• French language skills are a plus.
