We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open in Q3 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital. It will represent a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Located in the center of Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district along Rua Augusta, the hotel will comprise five buildings, including the historic Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). The hotel will feature 170 guestrooms and private suites across these buildings, creating a unique Urban Resort experience in the city center.

About The Role

The Restaurant Supervisor will assist the Restaurant Manager in the efficient operation of the department, ensuring alignment with Hyatt International's standards and brand strategies. Responsibilities include managing the outlet as a successful profit center, maintaining high guest satisfaction, operating within budget, and leading the team through training, scheduling, and supervision.

Qualifications - External
  • Degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Leadership skills to motivate a diverse team including servers, bartenders, and supervisors
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
  • Focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Experience in budget management, including cost monitoring and pricing strategies
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and overseeing stock levels
  • Pre-opening experience is an advantage
