Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Desenvolver aplicações de software para pesquisa científica em áreas relacionadas ao hidrogênio.

Scientific Software Developer

HyLab’s final goal is to create a worldwide reference Research, Development and Innovation (R&D+I) cluster with a strategic agenda focused on strengthening hydrogen competitiveness and creating new products and services. Moreover, HyLab will foster innovation, addressing relevant supply chain components to enable a hydrogen-driven economy and promote skilled, value-added job creation.

It targets a gap between academia and industrial ecosystems in implementing green hydrogen to boost the energy transition and address related challenges, through the entire hydrogen value chain.

HyLab involves valuable national and international R&D institutes, academia, industry companies, SMEs, start-ups, and hydrogen technology manufacturing industries.

We are seeking a Scientific Software Developer who will report to the Lead Researcher and will be responsible for developing software applications and providing technical support across hydrogen areas.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop software applications for scientific research in hydrogen-related areas.
2. Provide technical support to R&D teams developing computational code.
3. Collaborate on R&D projects, including the Mobilizing Agendas of the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
4. Work with project partners to ensure timely delivery of technical tasks and prepare related reports.
5. Participate in disseminating scientific knowledge through articles, conference presentations, and communications.

Qualifications:

1. Degree and/or Master’s in Computer Engineering or a similar field.
2. Experience in scientific (or commercial) software development, with various OS, version control, OOP, and HPC.
3. Strong foundation in machine learning, data analysis, and numerical methods.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Strong planning, organizational, and rigorous skills.
6. Proficiency in English at C1 level.
