Qualificações

  • 2+ years of mobile or similar development experience preferred.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and SQL databases considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like ISO 13485 is an asset.

Job Title: Android Developer

Job Summary

Reporting to the Team Lead of Web & Mobile, the Android Developer will help design, document, and code mobile software for the mobile platform within the Connexall product suite while adhering to our IEC 62304 SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ISO-13485 QMS, and ISO 14971 risk management frameworks. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally, taking part in all aspects of the mobile Software Development Life Cycle and ensuring adherence to our risk management frameworks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle, working to help Connexall meet its corporate goals and objectives.
  • Design, document, develop and test mobile applications.
  • Perform analysis and testing of the new product as well as platform requirements and changes.
  • Ensure that new features developed integrate properly into existing system.
  • Produce quality code with a focus on stability, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Create and maintain development documentation, adhering to our ISO-13485 quality management system.
  • Work closely with QA (Quality Assurance), to track bug reports, debug code, develop test plans and close issues.
  • Work with our Technical Support and Implementation departments to help troubleshoot and resolve client issues as needed.
  • Identify and provide recommendations on solutions for gaps in business processes and systems.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience in Software Development, iOS/Android Development, Web Development, or a similar discipline
  • Experience designing and developing native software products for the mobile platform.
  • Experience with Android Studio and Kotlin (or Java) language.
  • Preferably 2+ years of mobile or similar development experience
  • Strong knowledge of design best practices.
  • Experience with using Room library as an object persistence solution.
  • Experience building applications that consume RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with concurrency considered a plus.
  • Experience with SQL relational databases and syntax considered a plus.
  • Experience building applications that consume RESTful and Web APIs considered a plus.
  • Experience using formal source control management processes and tools (e.g., GIT).
  • Experience working with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971) considered an asset.
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated, curious, creative, and passionate about technology.
  • Ability to work effectively individually or within small teams in a very dynamic environment.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external clients for data gathering and design initiation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with limited supervision
