About The Job

The KYC Data Officer’s primary focus is to gather client data and documentation to construct a KYC (Know Your Client) file to support the due diligence assessment of prospective and existing clients.

Your Main Activities Are

1. Responsible for the preparation of onboarding and recertification of KYC processes, such as understanding the purpose of each request and explaining the process to the client.
2. Ensure the onboarding and recertification requests are correctly entered into the systems, creating ownership structures and listing related persons.
3. Conduct initial checks against internal data and databases to determine existing KYC information within the bank and identify required documents to be shared with clients and stakeholders.
4. Manage information and documents, particularly obtaining data according to segment policy, collecting remaining documents from clients, analyzing data with existing documents, and updating systems accordingly.
5. Validate all data according to internal procedures and guidelines, ensuring due diligence for local requirements for multi-site clients are properly performed.

Profile And Skills To Success

• Academic background in Law, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar areas.
• Experience in Legal, Compliance, Banking, Financial Operations, or similar roles.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work effectively across different teams, departments, and clients.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and rigor.
