Job summary

iTRTech Group is seeking an experienced E2E Tester for remote Europe to validate IMS, PaCO and SDM services within 5G Core environments. You will perform manual end-to-end testing, analyze network protocols, and work with engineering teams to ensure reliable deliveries.

The role requires hands-on testing across 2G/3G/4G/5G, strong debugging abilities, and experience with cloud and VNF deployments. English B2+ is required, and candidates must be based in Europe.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IMS/SDM/PaCO/5G Core experience.
• Advanced understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G networks and call flows.
• Experience in protocol testing (HTTP/2, SIP, MAP, Diameter).
• Hands-on manual E2E testing with debugging skills.
• Experience with cloud, virtualization, and VNF deployments (Kubernetes, Docker, Python).
• Wireshark for packet capture and troubleshooting.

About The Opportunity

Help validate the services and network functions that support telecommunications connectivity. We are looking for an E2E Tester with experience in IMS, PaCO, SDM and 5G Core environments to support end-to-end testing and ensure reliable deliveries.

You will combine hands‑on manual testing with protocol analysis, debugging and troubleshooting, working closely with technical teams to investigate failures and track defects through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual end-to-end testing across IMS, PaCO and SDM environments.
• Build a clear understanding of the test environment, network functionality and expected behaviours.
• Provide requirements and technical input for test case definition.
• Analyse test failures, investigate issues and support root‑cause identification.
• Use packet captures and logs to troubleshoot network and protocol issues.
• Log, track and report defects using Jira, QC or customer‑agreed tools.
• Produce defect reports and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to investigate defects and support their resolution.

Essential Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience within IMS, SDM, PaCO or 5G domains, with strong knowledge of the technologies relevant to this role.
• Advanced understanding of 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G networks and call flows.
• Experience in protocol testing, including HTTP/2, SIP, MAP and Diameter.
• Hands‑on experience in manual E2E testing, with strong debugging and failure analysis skills.
• Experience with cloud environments, virtualisation and Virtual Network Function (VNF) deployments, using Kubernetes, Docker and Python.
• Practical experience with Wireshark for packet capture analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience logging and tracking defects using Jira or QC.
• Strong communication, knowledge‑sharing and training skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• English B2, spoken and written.
• Currently based in Europe.

Preferred Experience

• Previous involvement in Nokia Core Network projects, particularly within IMS, PaCO or SDM environments.
