Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Lisbon seeks a Senior Manager/Director to lead Infra projects across Europe and Africa. You will drive on-site leadership, client negotiations, and strategic partnerships while mobilizing resources for international engagements.

You will bring 10–15 years of consulting experience, a strong engineering background, and fluency in Portuguese and English, with travel across regions a key expectation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or construction discipline (and/or MBA) from a top-tier university.
• Master's degree in engineering or related major.
• 10–15 years of experience with top-tier consulting firms in natural resources, energy, and industrial sectors.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness for extensive international travel and remote on-site project delivery capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of work fronts with hands-on involvement and client engagement across project phases.
• Lead meetings and presentations with client and senior management, showing confidence and mastery.
• Take on-site leadership roles with teams and clients to negotiate and collaborate effectively.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive ongoing engagement.
• Develop strategic partnerships for business growth and new opportunities.
• Engage in industry events to foster relationships and identify opportunities.
• Apply a creative mindset to co-create innovative solutions for client challenges globally.
