Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Certification as a Dietetic Technician or Nutritionist Assistant preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic principles of nutrition and dietary guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist registered dietitians in developing nutrition plans for clients based on their individual needs.
• Conduct initial screenings and assessments of clients' dietary habits, medical history, and lifestyle.
• Educate clients on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and portion control.
• Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate updates to the dietitian team.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations.
