A-to-Be, Brisa Group, based in Lisbon, seeks an experienced and hands-on DevOps Team Manager to lead the DevOps and Platform Engineering teams, driving automation, reliability and scalability across cloud and on‑premises platforms.

You will define DevOps practices, collaborate with Product, Architecture, Development and Operations, and guide major incident response while ensuring an outstanding developer experience and operational excellence.

Qualificações

• Extensive DevOps leadership in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Azure and Linux administration.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Proven experience setting up CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins or Nexus.
• Solid observability stack experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash).
• Professional English communication skills.

Your Mission

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on DevOps Team Manager to lead our DevOps team while actively contributing to the evolution, operation and support of our cloud and on-premises platforms.

You will define and drive our DevOps and Platform Engineering practices, fostering automation, reliability, observability and operational excellence while working closely with Product, Architecture, Development and Operations teams.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing DevOps and Platform Engineering team;
• Define and execute the DevOps roadmap, aligned with business and technology objectives;
• Drive automation, reliability, scalability and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Design, implement and maintain highly available cloud and on-premises platforms;
• Establish and promote DevOps best practices, operational standards and governance frameworks;
• Lead major incident response activities and support the resolution of complex technical challenges;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, scalable and secure solutions;
• Enhance our internal engineering platform and enable an outstanding developer experience;
• Actively contribute to operational support and participate in the on-call model for critical production services.

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering roles;
• Previous experience leading technical teams in complex enterprise environments;
• Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure), Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux systems administration;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools, namely Terraform and Ansible;
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab, Jenkins or Nexus;
• Strong understanding of observability and monitoring technologies, including Prometheus, Grafana and tracing solutions;
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Golang or Bash;
• Knowledge of networking and database technologies;
• Professional proficiency in English.
