Wondercom is looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to join an exciting and impactful project based in Porto. This role involves designing, building, and operating the platform layer that enables data services to run efficiently in the cloud.

The ideal candidate should have over 4 years of experience in DevOps, with strong skills in AWS services and infrastructure as code.

The position offers a hybrid work model and competitive compensation package aligned with experience.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Experience in production support and incident management.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate the platform layer for data services.
• Take ownership across the full lifecycle from infrastructure design to production support.
• Collaborate with international teams and adapt to various contexts.

Conhecimentos

AWS cloud services (ECS, EC2, Glue, Athena, CloudFront, WAF)

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)

Containerized environments (Docker)

Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals

Monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Coralogix)

Fluency in English

We arelooking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to join an exciting andimpactful project based in Porto, operating in a hybrid work model.

You willdesign, build, and operate the platform layer that enables data services to runefficiently in the cloud. You are expected to take ownership across the fulllifecycle: from infrastructure design to production support and continuousimprovement.

Requirements

What we arelooking for

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps,Platform Engineering, or similar roles
  
• Strong experience with AWS cloudservices (ECS, EC2, Glue, Athena, CloudFront, WAF)
  
• Proven expertise in Infrastructureas Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
  
• Hands-on experience with CI/CDpipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)
  
• Solid understanding of containerisedenvironments (Docker, microservices)
  
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unixsystems and networking fundamentals
  
• Experience with monitoring andobservability tools (e.g., Datadog, Coralogix)
  
• Experience in production support andincident management
  
• Familiarity with Git-based workflowsand collaboration tools (e.g., Jira)
  
• Fluencyin English is required
  
  

Nice tohave:

• Exposure to Azure environments
  
• Experience working with dataplatforms or data engineering teams
  
• Understanding of SRE principles(SLIs/SLOs, reliability practices)
