Emagine is seeking an energetic DevOps Engineer with strong observability and AWS experience to join a high‑impact project. You design and manage observability stacks, build and operate AWS infrastructure, and automate delivery with IaC tools.

You will work closely with Engineering, SRE, and Architecture to improve scalability, resilience, and incident response while participating in on‑call rotations. This remote Portugal role offers a challenging environment and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or SRE.
• Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Services.
• Hands-on experience with observability platforms (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Open Telemetry).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform preferred).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.

• Enhance system visibility with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic, or OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with Engineering, SRE, and Architecture to improve scalability, resilience, and incident response.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.

We are looking for an energetic and skilled Dev Ops Engineer with solid experience in Observability and AWS Cloud to join an exciting, high-impact project.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces) to ensure the reliability and performance of large-scale systems. Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, Cloud Watch, IAM, VPC, RDS, etc.). Build CI/CD pipelines and contribute to infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation. Enhance system visibility by integrating tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic, or Open Telemetry.

Collaborate closely with Engineering, SRE, and Architecture teams to improve scalability, resilience, and incident response. Troubleshoot complex production issues and participate in on-call rotations when required.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Dev Ops, Cloud Engineer, or SRE. Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Services. Hands‑on experience with observability platforms (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Open Telemetry, etc.). Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions). Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS). Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience (Terraform preferred). Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar). Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

Experience in high‑availability, highly distributed environments. Familiarity with Fin Ops, monitoring strategies, or cost‑optimization practices. Exposure to security best practices in cloud environments.
